Who is responsible
Every article is reviewed and approved by Jaegeun Kim (Industrial designer, public-space & street-furniture design). The byline on each article is the person accountable for it. See About.
How articles are made
- Research: manufacturer specifications, building and lighting guidance, published cost data and hands-on experience. Sources are linked where facts are stated.
- Drafting: software tools, including AI writing assistants, may help with research summaries, outlines and first drafts.
- Designer review: the author checks every dimension, material claim and recommendation, adds first-hand design reasoning and rewrites as needed. Nothing is published without this review.
- Images: original photos, licensed photos or clearly labeled AI concepts. See the AI Image Policy.
Accuracy and numbers
- Prices and costs are given as ranges with a source and date, and labeled as estimates.
- Safety-related topics (electrical, gas fire features, retaining walls, structures) point readers to local codes and licensed professionals.
Product recommendations
We say "tested" only for products we have used. Otherwise we explain the criteria. Affiliate relationships never change our conclusions. See the Affiliate Disclosure.
Updates and corrections
Guides are reviewed at least once a year and before each spring season. Substantive changes update the "Updated" date. Report errors via Contact.
